Jean-Christophe Buillet is the CEO and Chief Compliance Officer of Makarios Investments Inc. With more than 20 years of entrepreneurial and financial experience, he brings together expertise in taxation, investment management, and real estate with a deep commitment to integrity and fiduciary responsibility.
Jean-Christophe studied Computer and Electrical Engineering at Northern Arizona University and later completed two years at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM), where he developed a strong foundation in values of service, stewardship, and faith-driven leadership. These experiences, both technical and spiritual, guide his approach to advising clients: disciplined analysis carried out with integrity, always placing the client’s interests first.
In 2003, Jean-Christophe and his family opened A Sunset Chateau, a Sedona-based boutique hospitality business that continues to thrive. His passion for entrepreneurship and serving others soon expanded into financial services. In 2005, he entered real estate investment and brokerage. In 2015, he launched Buillet Tax & Consulting PLLC, where he serves clients as an IRS Enrolled Agent, providing tax preparation, accounting, and advisory services. Over the years, he has also been licensed in insurance and mortgage brokerage, giving him a broad understanding of the financial services landscape.
In 2025, he founded Makarios Investments INC to provide clients with disciplined, fiduciary-focused portfolio management. He combines his tax and real estate expertise with investment management to help clients pursue their long-term financial goals with clarity and confidence.
Jean-Christophe currently holds the Series 65 license (Investment Adviser Representative), the IRS Enrolled Agent license (since 2015), and an Arizona Real Estate Broker license (since 2005).
A long-time Sedona resident and father of 4 beautiful children, Jean-Christophe is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses align their investments with both their financial goals and their values.
